Find a Doctor You Can Trust

Whether you need a primary care doctor, a specialist, or an urgent-care clinic, three things matter most: are they in your network, are they accepting new patients, and are they qualified for what you need?

Check your network

Call the number on the back of your insurance card or use their online directory. In-network providers cost dramatically less.

Verify credentials

Look up the provider on your state's medical board site. Check board certification, license status, and disciplinary history.

Ask the right questions

New patient wait time? Which hospital do they admit to? Do they use telehealth? Are labs done in-house or referred out?

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
James 1:5
